Join me for a yoga & healthy eating retreat in the Redwoods!

Magda Freedom Rod in Eagle pose atop an 8' high ancient redwood tree stump

There’s always a sense of unexpected inspiration that comes from travel. This summer I was blessed enough to take  an epic road trip half way across the country and visit a lot of states and lots of wonderful experiences. A major highlight of that trip was on the road home, passing through the Redwood Forest. I spent time walking the trails and laying on the river rocks in the sun next to the magnificent Eel River. This is about as close to heaven as one can feel. There is a magic in that forest that can only be felt.

On the way home from there we passed a small organic farm in a clearing right there in the middle of The Avenue of the Giants. I was reminded of a time I found this little slice of heaven some years ago while on a trip with my daughter. During that trip, the sun was setting and we stopped to check it out. Turns out the owner was out there in the field harvesting cucumbers so we jumped in to help and had a great chat. We learned it’s a three acre organic farm, and they have a vacation house right there on the property. In that moment I decided I’d come back up someday and bring a group of people to share in the majestic beauty of this unique and oh so special location.

Since then, I’ve become a certified yoga instructor and plant based nutrition expert. So now the time has come to realize that dream from years ago, and allow the seed to sprout and bloom. I’d be so honored to have you join us. Bring a friend and unplug from the day to day world. Spend time in the peaceful forest under these giant, ancient trees. Join us in daily yoga and meditation. Learn how to prepare healthy gluten free, plant based organic food. Learn what to do with all these superfoods you hear about. Swim in the Eel River. Harvest your own vegetables from the farm. Breathe in the beauty. Be….

    HI Magda;
    Would love to join in this but can not come in September. Was wondering if you have plans to do another one some other time? Let me know. Thanks Sugar

      Oh my gosh Sugar it would be simply amazing to have you ate one of these! Ill be doing more in Santa Barbara & Ojai coming up maybe this fall. When are you available to travel? I do see having these at the location in the redwoods possibly quarterly, maybe bi-annually. Well have to get through the first one at that location and take it from there. Stay tuned! So glad you’re interested!
